We are pleased to announce our Spring & Summer Junior Sailing Program for 2025. These programs will be led by our Junior Sailing Director Noah Clarke. Noah Clarke has been sailing for close to a decade and is a level 1 certified US Sailing Instructor hailing from Hilton Head Island. While there, he competed for South Carolina Yacht Club under the tutelage of Yachting Director Mark Newman. He has competed in both the local SAYRA circuit and national competitions including the C420 Midwinters and ILCA Nationals. Noah later went on to coach at SCYC for 3 years and assisted with running their extensive Summer Sailing Program. Noah has been at DIYC since September of 2024 and assisted with their fall sailing program.
Daniel Island Yacht Club’s fall sailing camp is designed for beginner and intermediate sailors, ages 8-14. Under the guidance of our experienced and US Sailing-Certified Instructors, campers will learn to sail on Optimist and Z420 sailboats through a combination of on-the-water instruction and onshore activities. Our program, tailored to each individual camper, strives to develop capable and passionate sailors who grow in their love for sailing and the water! Camp will run Wednesdays and Thursdays 4:00-6:30pm
